National Timber Group acquires NORclad, a specialist manufacturer of fire-rated timber cladding.
Today, we are pleased to announce that NORclad has become the latest specialist timber products business to join National Timber Group (NTG). This is the most recent in a series of acquisitions to further strengthen the Group’s position as the UK’s largest, independent, specialist timber processing and distribution group with a focus on value-added products. This announcement follows the recent acquisition of SV Timber in the Midlands, which joined NTG in September 2022.
Headquartered in North Somerset, NORclad is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of bespoke fire-rated timber cladding, facades and other timber products used by commercial and residential customers nationally. With over 40 years of experience, the company prides itself on the sustainability of its products and the expert technical support that it provides to its customers.
NORclad’s shareholders will remain in the business, working closely with Patrick Guest, Managing Director of NTG England, to further develop NTG’s fire-rated timber cladding category and realise the opportunities presented by this partnership.
