NTG England Expands National Sales Team

National Timber Group England (NTG England) has expanded its national sales team, based at the central office in Sheffield, due to significant contract wins in 2023.

The 23 strong team, previously eight people, has new recruits in estimating, order process, internal sales and customer service and is led by Mark Griffiths, NTG England Commercial Sales Director.

NTG England has also invested in technology for the team with a new CRM system and enquiry and order tracking, and a complete office refurbishment.

Mark Griffiths said: “Our England national timber sales were £35m last year to customers including housebuilders, national contractors and the modular sector.

“With the development and reorganisation of the national sales team, we are in a great position to give national customers first class support on timber and timber product purchasing.

“Alongside the trade branches the group has the specialist engineered wood products division, National Timber Systems, and specialist cladding supplier, NORclad, which give us opportunities to better service our customers.

“NTG England’s national sales team plays an integral role in supporting our NTG Door Solutions division, formerly Intelligent Door Solutions. This means we can offer customised door solutions tailored to both regional and national account customers’ specific needs, from two dedicated doorset and door kit manufacturing centres.”

NTG has a combined turnover of £320 million, 1300 employees and 52 trading sites from the north of Scotland to the south of England.
