National Timber Group launches latest Development Programme in Scotland
National Timber Group in Scotland have been on their learning and development journey for over 3 years now and the latest development programme is bringing together best practice from the leadership team across 10 of their 29 branches.
Whereas the first two management development programmes concentrated on 22 aspiring managers (9 of whom have since been promoted to supervisory or management roles) this latest programme leans on the vast management experience across the branch estate. Leading the programme is Rob Cross, founder of The Purposeful Leader and celebrated author of The Great Man is Dead.
Nick Ratcliffe, NTG Scotland Managing Director commented,
“After two successful development programmes to help our aspiring managers gain traction in their careers, we felt it was time to offer senior leadership development to some of our experienced people managers. Rob Cross is renowned for working with board level directors and unlocking potential and we are delighted he is taking our people on this development journey. I am certain our business and our colleagues will benefit from their time with Rob.”
Rob Cross added,
“When the opportunity came up to work with the National Timber Group Scotland management team, I was delighted to get involved. To be able to work with a group of seasoned professionals who are searching for ways to continue driving performance is a real privilege. Furthermore, to see how all of those on the programme have embraced not only the content being shared but also the opportunity to learn from each other has been great and I’m excited to see how they work with their teams and together to drive results in 2024.”
