Branch Manager

Rembrand Timber, part of National Timber Group are seeking to recruit a Branch Manager at their Oban branch at Glenshellach Business Park, Oban, PA34 4HG.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, target orientated individual with a sharp business acumen and excellent computer skills. The ability to work under pressure, have a proactive attitude to innovation and can focus on coaching and encouraging the best from colleagues.

Duties will include:

• Day to day management of counter service for the Branch
• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Management of stock rotation and stock control for counter and yard
• Cash handling
• Health and safety responsibilities including weekly checks and general adherence to all policies and procedures
• Driving and maintaining a professional and positive sales mentality to meet and exceed branch and company objectives
• Key holding and store open and close
• Staff supervision, mentoring and training
• Supporting business development and branch operation continual improvement

Hours, salary and benefits:

• This is a full time role working 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday- Friday.
• An attractive basic salary is offered which is commensurate with the role and negotiable depending on previous skills and experience
