eCommerce Manager

National Timber Group are recruiting for an eCommerce Manager to join the team based at either Sheffield, Leeds or Coventry.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working within a fast pace, demanding environment and is comfortable in a role where they are given the autonomy to implement new ideas and positive change with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other departments.

The successful candidate will have previous knowledge with eCommerce platforms such as Magento and a strong can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent planning, communication and collaboration skills. Previous experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager desirable but not essential.

Main Duties:

  • Day to day management of our local trading brand websites (Magento/Adobe Commerce, multi-store view configuration) to optimise digital trading performance
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor team performance against KPIs
  • Manage the existing web ranges and the launch of new product ranges online via our PIM, Akeneo
  • Continuous review and improvement to eCommerce trading processes – coordinating between the ecommerce team, operations (branches and suppliers) and other key stakeholders to deliver a seamless digital customer journey
  • Be first point of contact for the eCommerce Customer Services team, supporting with all escalated customer queries, to ensure speedy resolution of on-site issues
  • Liaison with our UK-based eCommerce platform provider and internal IT team, on the resolution of support tickets and development testing
  • Weekly review of stock levels and lead times across our direct from supplier online product ranges, and ensuring on-site messaging is up to date and accurate
  • Implement bi-monthly group-wide, multi-channel Trade Deals promotions across our digital channels
  • Execution of technical SEO recommendations working with our SEO agency partner
  • Monitor and improve organic SEO through content production and usage
  • Support wider business objectives through digital corporate content, enquiries landing pages and lead generation campaigns
  • Manage the relationship with our partner agency for paid media, including weekly status calls
  • Work closely with Marketing and external agencies on digital asset and content creation and product selections for campaigns across all digital channels
  • Working with third parties to test UX/UI optimisations
  • Monitor customer feedback to apply to site optimisations to improve UX and customer satisfaction, and to inform the development roadmap to continuously enhance our service to our key customer segments
