Team NTS Conquer Yorkshire Three Peaks, Raising Over £1,800 for Alzheimer’s Society

Seven of our incredible colleagues and family members from National Timber Systems successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 31st May — an impressive 24-mile trek across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. Their efforts not only conquered a demanding physical feat but also raised over £1,800 for the Alzheimer’s Society — more than doubling their original fundraising goal of £750.
The group, brought together by a shared passion for hiking and making a difference, tackled the challenge with determination and purpose. It was a chance to combine a love of the outdoors with a meaningful cause.
The group gave it their all, and kept each other going through every steep climb and tired step. Knowing they were raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society made every mile even more worthwhile. This will stay as a great memory and achievement for all involved — and the support of everyone who donated has been deeply appreciated.
The Alzheimer’s Society is a UK charity that provides life-changing support for those affected by dementia. The funds raised will help the organisation continue its essential work — from funding groundbreaking research to delivering local services and vital support networks that improve the lives of people living with dementia and their families.
The team’s commitment and achievement have made us all incredibly proud. From the physical test of the peaks to the generosity shown by friends and colleagues who supported the fundraising and cheered them on, their efforts reflect the very best of what we can accomplish together.
